Like every time, this time too according to the  FIFA World Cup 2018 Schedule – Fixtures the FIFA World Cup matches will be played in five rounds. The first round being the group matches where every team is assigned a group and there are a total of 8 groups with 4 teams in each of them. The groups are Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E, Group F, Group G and Group H.

According to the FIFA World Cup, 2018 Schedule/ timetable, the group level soccer matches will be played from 14th June to 28th of June 2018 followed by the Round 16 matches which are scheduled from 30th June to 3rd of July. As per the FIFA World Cup 2018 fixtures, the last leg of the FIFA World Cup 2018 matches i.e. the Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals, and Finals will be played between the dates of 6th July to 14th July 2018. Semi-finals level will see one match on each day i.e. one match on 10th July and another on 11th July.
